Every Tuesday. The King Kamehameha Cultural Historical Tour offers a one-of-a-kind experience in Kailua-Kona, set on the very grounds of Kamakahonu, where King Kamehameha the Great once resided. This wahi pana (sacred place) is home to Ahuʻena Heiau, an ancestral site of immense cultural and spiritual significance to Kānaka Maoli. Led by esteemed cultural historians, this free walking tour is open to all and invites you to deepen your knowledge and appreciation of Hawaiʻi's history, traditions, and the enduring legacy of Kamehameha I.
