Through music and art projects he is also building awareness for Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to ending veteran homelessness. Tickets for the Kahilu Theatre performance are available at https://kahilu.org/events/darkside-of-the-beach/ . Honolulu, HI, October 7, 2026 — Hawai‘i Island Pink Floyd fans will be treated to a very special concert from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026 when Honolulu-based tribute band, Dark Side of the Beach performs a full Pink Floyd show at Kahilu Theatre in Waimea. But this show will pack an extra punch: A former Pink Floyd musician as a special guest. Scott Page played saxophone and rhythm guitar on Pink Floyd’s Momentary Lapse of Reason album and tour, and has also played with Toto and Supertramp in a career marked by performances for massive crowds. For the more intimate Kahilu Theatre event, Page brings his dynamic and energetic style to a show that has been garnering rave reviews on O‘ahu. Dark Side of the Beach sold out Blue Note Hawaii last year and earned a standing ovation from a near-sellout crowd at Hawaii Theatre earlier this year for its passionate renditions of Pink Floyd’s iconic songs. The group is set to return to Honolulu's historic Hawaii Theatre for an encore New Year's Eve performance (tickets and more information available at https://hawaiitheatre.my.salesforce-sites.com/ticket/#/events/a0SUl00000DoNQ9MAN ), but first will be bringing the full show - with Page as special guest - to Kahilu Theatre in Waimea. Page’s guest appearance with Dark Side of the Beach comes as part of his effort to build awareness for Operation Renewed Hope Foundation (ORHF), a nonprofit dedicated to ending veteran homelessness. In addition to his musical success, Page is also an entrepreneur, technologist and philanthropist who has been raising awareness for ORHF through a variety of art, music and speaking engagements including his “Golden Mullet 250” participatory art project that recreates a portrait from Page’s creative archive that was sent to the moon in 2024 as part of the Odysseus lunar mission. A chance meeting with Hawai‘i Island resident (and Blue Planet Foundation/Blue Planet Alliance founder) Henk Rogers forged the connection that led to the Kahilu Theatre performance. “I met Henk when we were both speakers for an event focused on innovation and entrepreneurship, ” Page says. “He mentioned that his friends played in a really good Floyd tribute project in Hawai‘i, and I said, ‘Great! I’d love to jam with them some time.’ One thing led to another, and here we are!” Tickets for the October 24 concert are available at the Kahilu Theatre box office or online at https://kahilu.org/events/darkside-of-the-beach/ For more information or to schedule an interview with Scott Page or Dark Side of the Beach, contact dsotbhawaii@gmail.com or call Larry Lieberman at (808) 741-7529.
